Welcome to the first post on the Kulinary Adventures blog! This will be a chance for us to communicate directly with you about food, restaurants, chefs, markets, stores, and, of course, our tours.
If you have not already done so, please check out our website at www.kulinaryadventures.com. The website contains information about us and our first tour, the New York City Kosher Experience. The tour is happening on August 16 and 17, 2009, and reservations need to be made before August 5.
Here's some inside info for our blog readers, though: if you sign up before July 15, you can take advantage of our special low introductory rate!
Here's the scoop: great chefs will be teaching cooking classes, all about healthy and delicious food. But food has to look good too, right? So -- I'm really excited about this -- we're going to have an innovative food plating and presentation class too! And we're also going to one of my favorite places in the city -- the Union Square Greenmarket! It will be truly amazing because we're getting a guided tour of the market, and we'll cook with whatever we buy! Of course, we're going to some of the finest restaurants too, and who knows? Maybe the restaurant chefs will come out and chat with us!
There's so much more to the tour, including manicure/pedicure and optional massage treatments, gift bags, the best pastries I've ever had, and -- best of all -- a chance to bond with other food enthusiasts! I'm telling you -- if I weren't running this tour, I'd be running to sign up for it!
